On the air for
over six semesters, Nick Barber, the
host of The Nick Show is a WTBU veteran
and hopes to continue being "on
the air" after graduation Nick
is a broadcast journalism senior in
Boston University's College of Communication
(COM). He is planning on attending
law school in either Boston or his
home state of New Jersey.
Nick
has worked as an intern with Governor
Mitt Romney's (R-MA) re-election campaign.
The BU senior participated in two
consecutive COM-sponsored Great Debates.
The questions debated included, "Should
the law protect journalists from revealing
confidential sources?" and "Does
overseas outsourcing hurt the US economy?"
Nick debated alongside highly-recognized
experts in front of a live audience.
The debates were also broadcast nationally
on C-SPAN.
During the summer of 2004, Nick was
a production intern with MSNBC's Hardball
with Chris Matthews. He worked
on location with the MSNBC staff for
live coverage of the 2004 Democratic
National Convention from Boston, MA.

Nick enjoys music, especially singing,
and has performed with the Boston
University Symphonic Chorus and the
Boston Pops for the past three years.
As an EMT and CPR instructor, Nick
knows the benefit of quickly-administered
